“ No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

This is the beginning of the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution, which every public official, from the President to every Marine has sworn to uphold.
What we are seeing throughout the United States, and what we are hearing from President Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Department of Homeland Security Chair Kristi Noem, Border CzarTom Homan is a public statement by each of these officials which tries, convicts and sentences each victim of Ice’s Gestapo tactics - without benefit of the law.
It is a thumbing of the nose against the Fifth Amendment, and against the Constitution itself.
President Trump stands in his plane and tells the world why Abrego Garcia is a fantastic criminal out of a James Bond film, convicting him without a trial; Pam Bondi tells the world how dangerous Garcia is, and how he will be convicted and sent back to El Salvador, because she has given herself the singular role of judge and jury; Marco Rubio forgets his own ancestry, betraying his own roots when he convicts the victims of ICE before any trial has occurred; Tom Homan gobbles like a demented turkey as he proposes a complete round-up of aliens, without any charges whatsoever; I don’t know what Kristi Noem does, except play dress-ups and pose like an S&M bondage queen before a chorus of Americans sent illegally to El Salvador, without any charges made, or judicial process given.
Stephen Miller, dead-eyed and spitting justice in a lonely court of his loneliest brain, demands that aliens be arrested, deported, without trial. He wants aliens to be denied the writ of habeas corpus. What does he mean?
Writ of habeas corpus is: a common law order issued by a judge or court requiring the appearance of a prisoner or detainee before the court for a specified purpose. The most common and important purpose of a such a writ is to determine the validity of a person’s arrest, imprisonment, or detention under relevant laws or constitutional provisions.

Trump’s response to this is that there are hundreds of thousands of gang members, criminals, rapists who would have to go to trial, and that would take hundreds of years and millions of dollars to put them on trial. So why bother? Just grab ‘em and ship ‘em out!
Trump knowingly is wrong: only the court is the law, as defined by our Constitution, which Trump had sworn to uphold, twice in his life - when, in between, he had to face 99 criminal and civil charges against a variety of laws of the land.
This week, Trump sent Marines onto the streets of California, denying the law which gives the Governor of each State the right to call the Federal office to enlist his service. Without such a call, the President has no legal right to send in troops to any state. Trump’s action was illegal, and an affront and challenge to every Governor in every state of the union.
Trump knowingly is wrong: the court is the law, as defined by our Constitution, which Trump had sworn to uphold, twice in his life - when, in between, he had to face 99 criminal and civil charges against a variety of laws of the land. Winning the Presidency kept him out of court.
Television and social media are the voice of Trump and company. They are putting on a show where The Apprentice has become The Dictator.
The Parade of the Dictator, on Trump’s birthday, will take place down a street that is fenced-in, to keep “an angry populace” from disrupting Trump’s gift to himself.
This parade and fence is Trump’s answer to January 6, where “an angry populace” attempted to halt the Constitutionally defined transfer of power.
Trump, Bondi, Rubio, Noem, Homan and Miller have substituted the court of law, the writ of habeas corpus, and the Fifth Amendment for their own ends.
They are, by definition, traitors to the aims and laws of the Constitution - without which, this country cannot survive.
They should be arrested immediately, and tried for their actions.
Please send this essay to your Congressmen, Senators, and friends. Stand fast, and stand firm. And do not forget that the street are always a major stage of citizens everywhere.
